June was an interesting and completely unique month. We found out that we’re pregnant at the end of May, so my whole reality and routine got thrown COMPLETELY out of whack. And I honestly just struggled to find the energy to read! Which was completely horrifying to me… but I still managed to get through a few books. (All that time I couldn’t go to the gym did give me a little more reading time).

So I’m doing things a little differently from henceforth. The books that I’ve read the month before are being published (so a month’s delay from reading to publishing). Which means that there will be two Junes in the lists for this year, and then everything will even out in a weird way.

I have written my research proposal (somehow scarier than anything I’ve ever done before) and just in general felt overwhelmed and stressed. Which tends to mean I read a little more than usual… so it was kind of good, and kind of not so good…
