Thoughts

I really enjoyed this short story. After all, it features a gargoyle as a pet. I mean, there’s romance and fey and werewolves. But for me, the selling point is the fact that she decides to adopt a gargoyle as a pet!!! I mean… how awesome is that?!?!

I love how Selina is constantly at war with herself and trying to figure out what to do with her life. We all have warring sides of ourselves, and it’s always difficult to balance them. It was nice the way that Selina was able to do this by the end of the story.

I loved the extra twist of having a werewolf transformation in the middle of a vet. It added a nice layer of excitement and spice. I mean, the romance was also good. But mostly it was the other aspects of this story that I loved. And Gary the Gargoyle.
