Reading Update as of mid-August 2025

A bit delayed in scheduling my next batch of reviews… mostly because I’m now officially a Working Mum. And my daughter is refusing to sleep. And basically, just general life… which is probably why there are also a whole lot of rereads in this batch.

Reading Update as of mid-June 2025

It’s been hectic, but in the best way. Which has meant a little bit less reading, but still all of the enjoyment and fun. A lot of rereads in amongst things though, mostly because you know… a hectic life and my brain feeling like it’s going to explode.

Reading Update as of Mid-March 2025

The end of 2024 was just as hectic and insane as the rest of the year, but the beginning of 2025 has been a little slower and nicer. Which has meant that I’ve read a lot since the last update. Many fun books, some with a Christmas theme, others with just an all round fun story line.

It has been a horrible few weeks. Enough said about that. Here’s what I’ve read in that shitty time.

Reading Update – Mid-November 2023

Lots of reading lately – it’s been a good way to distract myself from being an adult. Just a little delayed to get them all online… and there will probably be more of a delay with the next batch. Baby #2 is due to arrive any day now! ❤

February kind of sucked. I had a bad birthday, a falling out with my best friend and the final month of my PhD probationary period. ‘Nuff said.

December 2019

Image result for december

December was a “fun” month. I had a major crash with my health, but still had a tonne of stuff due. It was stressful. Add that to the fact that it’s the silly season… it’s been an intense month. But, I’m getting there. Here’s to the new year and new beginnings! At least being so sick gave me a bit of a reboot on my life, priorities and work…

I also read a LOT… mostly because I wanted to try and finish the reading challenges I had set for 2019. I failed. But at least I tried. I DID however succeed in finishing all of the books on my list that I was currently reading. So I rung in the New Year with nothing on my currently reading shelf.
