Charles is a dominant wolf and only submits to his father. As the hand of the Marrok, he keeps himself closed off from people. Everyone seems to fear Charles, who is saddened by this but recognizes it as a necessity. He is seen by many other characters as cold and one dimensional. However, Charles cares deeply for his pack and those less dominant than him. This proves a strain on his conscience as his instinct is to protect but he is forced to kill to uphold the law.
Wrath was anointed at birth to be the King of the Vampire race as the last pure-blooded royal vampire. Instead of rising to the throne when the time came Wrath ignored his royal duties and assumed his leader position in the Brotherhood. He is visually impaired and is also known as the Blind King.
Acheron was the first Dark-Hunter ever appointed. He is also the writer of the Dark-Hunter Creed and of the Code we abide by. Because of his Dark-Hunter age and the fact that he fought the Daimons alone for thousands of years, he is more phantom than real. He interacts with the other Dark-Hunters on a whim, and his sage advice is often sought. Eccentric and idiosyncratic to the extreme, he is a legend among legends. The Dark-Hunters never know what to expect when Acheron enters a scene. He runs the full gamut from friendly to intimidating to downright scary. It is said of him that there has never been a mortal born who could equal his physical perfection. He possesses a raw, rare kind of charisma. Simi apears as a tattoo in any shape she wants.

The Alpha of the Tri-Cities werewolf pack. He lives next door to Mercy, and at the opening of the series, they have a playfully antagonistic relationship. Adam operates a well-known security firm and is divorced with one child; a teenage daughter named Jesse. It’s eventually revealed that, in order for Mercy to live in the Tri-Cities without danger from the local pack, Adam claimed her as his mate in name only prior to the beginning of the series, though his feelings had always been more than friendly… apparently even during his unsuccessful marriage. Adam is a dominant wolf, and fourth in line for the title of the Marrok. He is described as having an aura of power and sophistication, as well as being “hot”.
Prince, according to the press, but the title annoys him. He’s the Lu Nuncio or heir of the Nokolai Clan. His duties include managing the clan’s finances; answering any Challenge to his father, the Rho; representing his clan and his people in public; and generally looking out for the interests of the clan and, when called on, the welfare of individual clan members. A true alpha with a deep sense of duty, Rule has always lived up to the well-known lupus distaste for monogamy and has dated some of the most photogenic women in the country, so the gossip columnists are buzzing over the woman who recently moved in with him. Lily Yu is attractive, but ordinary in comparison to some of his former lovers. Yet she seems to be the only woman in his life now.
