How It Works:
Ten books each month is a lot, so there will be 5 different levels. Pick which level you want to do and that’s how many items you will need to check off.

Levels:
Transitional – 2 books
Fledgling – 4 books
Vampire – 6 books
Master – 8 books
Vampire King or Queen – 10 books

Tasks:

1. Coldest month in general in northern hemisphere.
Read a book with a winter looking cover or a winter theme.

2. January was named for the Roman god Janus, known as the protector of gates and doorways, which symbolize beginings and ends. Often depicted as having two faces – one looking forward and one looking to the past.
Read a book written by two authors OR from two POV.

3. January’s birthstone is the red garnet.
Read a book with red on the cover.

4. January is “Donate Blood Month”.
Read a book that has vampires OR a character is blood thirsty. – Kiss of Heat by Lora Leigh

5. January 16th – Appreciate a dragon day
Read a book with dragons OR about something or someone that flies.

6. – January 4th is world trivia day
Read a book that has an MC that is nerdy OR the author’s first or last name begins with a letter in the word “Trivia”.

7. – January 14th – Dress up your Pet Day
Read a book that has a shifter OR an every day cat/dog/other pet. – Born Free by Joy Adamson

8. – January 28th – Rubber Ducky Day
Read a book that has yellow on the cover OR has “DUCK” in the title, any order. – The Bride Test by Helen Hoang

9. January 1848 Gold was discovered in CA
Read a book where the MC is very wealthy – or comes into a lot of money.

10. – January 1st – Polar Bear Plunge Day
Read a book where there is water on the cover OR a character goes for a swim. – The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband by Julia Quinn
