01. July 1st is International Joke Day. Read a book tagged “humor”, you think is funny, or makes you laugh. – Dangerous Tides by Christine Feehan

02.July 2nd is World UFO Day. Read a book labeled “science fiction”, “science”, or the title starts with the letters UFO. – Oceans of Fire by Christine Feehan

03. July’s birthstone is the ruby, it represents love, health and wisdom. Read a book tagged “romance”, has a character that works in the medical field, a wise character or has a red cover.Lover Beware by Christine Feehan, Katherine Sutcliffe, Fiona Brand & Eileen Wilks

04. International Free Hugs Day takes place on the first Saturday of July. Read a book where the character shows kindness to others, pays it forward, is about friendship, or makes you happy. – Magic in the Wind by Christine Feehan

05. July 17th is World Emoji Day. Read a book that can be represented by an emoji in some way. – Must Love Hellhounds by Charlaine Harris, Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews & Meljean Brook (flame emoji)

06. July 29th is International Tiger Day. A day to promote public awareness of tiger conservation issues. Read a book with a tiger/cat, cat shifter, place in Asia or has a orange, white, or striped cover.Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

07. July 7th is International Chocolate Day. Read a book with chocolate/sweets/dessert on the cover or where the characters eat chocolate/sweets/dessert. – Ocean Light by Nalini Singh

08. Read a book with a character, author, or title that starts with one of the letters in JULY. – Mortal Sins by Eileen Wilks (Lily Yu)

09. One of July’s two birth flowers is the poisonous Delphinium. This flower gets its name from the Greek word “delphis,” which means dolphin do to the shape of the closed flower buds resembling the nose of a dolphin. Read a book about a sea creature, with a blue cover, or tagged “mystery”. – The Twilight Before Christmas by Christine Feehan

10. Since July is sometimes one the hottest months of the year for our vampires friends, help them avoid a horrible sunburn by hiding out in the dark with them. Read a book with vampires. – Falling for Anthony by Meljean Brook
