This review will be kind of short. Because this story was just not my thing. I gave it the required 150 pages. I loved the idea, but it just wasn’t my thing.
I’m not into the creepy, sleazy, way older man with young innocent. I mean, some of my romances fit that trope. But the older man is seriously and beautifully protective. That’s not the case in this story. He’s a bit of a creepy dick. And he gets off on her embarrassment.
Way too many Fifty Shades of Grey vibes for me in this story. But I did love the writing, so maybe if K Webster writes something a little less pervy lead…
