I struggled to get into this from the very outset, honestly, even reading the blurb made me think that this was like many of the other YA stories that I’ve read. And then I started reading it. There were a dozen or more “I”s on the first page alone. And it just made it next to impossible to fall in love with this story. So onto the next one.
