This week has been all about BILBIES! It’s honestly been a little hard to concentrate when I’ve been out all night spotlighting for Bilbies, with the occassional Boodie (Burrowing Bettong) and Woylie (Brush-tailed Bettong) thrown in. I’ve also had the privilege of spending time in the presence of a couple of echidnas and a wombat named Wilma. Is it little wonder that I haven’t found the time to write that I had wished for?

All of the time spent out in the field amongst nature has definitely been inspiring though, and I have a few half-formed poems rattling around in my brain. I can’t wait until they come out fully formed! Almost there…
